Return & Refund Policy

At Smartshopperbd, we want our customers to receive their orders correctly and in good condition. If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different from the product ordered, please contact us as soon as possible.

This Return & Refund Policy applies to purchases made through Smartshopperbd.

1. When Can You Request a Return?

A return may be accepted in situations such as:

• You received a wrong product.
• The product is damaged when received.
• The product has a manufacturing defect.
• The product is materially different from the description or specifications provided on our website.
• The product is missing an essential component that was included in the product description.
• Another valid issue is identified and accepted by Smartshopperbd.

2. Return Request Period

Customers should contact Smartshopperbd as soon as possible after receiving the product, preferably within 72 hours, particularly in cases involving damaged, defective, or incorrect products.

For some products, a different return period may be specified on the individual product page. Where a product-specific policy applies, that policy will govern the return process, subject to applicable law.

3. Products That May Not Be Eligible for Return

Certain products may not be eligible for return because of their nature, including:

• Products damaged through customer misuse.
• Products showing signs of intentional or accidental damage after delivery.
• Products that have been used, modified, repaired, or altered by the customer.
• Products without their original packaging, accessories, manuals, or included components, where those items are required for return.
• Products specifically identified as non-returnable on the product page.
• Customized or specially prepared products, where applicable.

These exclusions do not limit any rights that customers may have under applicable Bangladesh law.

4. Condition of Returned Products

For an approved return, the product should generally be returned:

• In its original condition.
• With original packaging where applicable.
• With accessories and included components.
• With invoice/order information where available.

Smartshopperbd may inspect the returned product before approving a refund or replacement.

5. Return Delivery Cost

If the return is due to an error by Smartshopperbd, such as receiving the wrong product or receiving a defective/damaged product, Smartshopperbd may bear the reasonable return delivery cost according to the circumstances.

If a return is requested for a reason that is not caused by Smartshopperbd, applicable delivery/return charges may be deducted or payable by the customer.

6. Replacement

Where appropriate and subject to product availability, Smartshopperbd may offer a replacement instead of a refund.

If the same product is unavailable, we may offer:

• An alternative product of equivalent value; or
• A refund, subject to the applicable circumstances and policy.

7. Refund

Approved refunds will normally be processed through the applicable payment method or another mutually agreed method.

The actual time required for a refund may depend on the payment provider, bank, mobile financial service, or other financial institution involved.

8. Cash on Delivery Orders

For Cash on Delivery orders, customers should carefully check the package and product condition where the delivery process permits inspection.

Customers should contact Smartshopperbd immediately if there is a serious issue with the received order.

9. How to Request a Return

To request a return, please contact us with:

• Order number
• Customer name
• Mobile number
• Product name
• Reason for return
• Photos/videos of the product where relevant
• Photos of packaging and shipping label, where relevant
